chapel thrill

Here are some pictures from my recent trip to Chapel Hill for easter weekend. I had so much fun meeting her family and eating delicious food!

Appalachian Antique Mall

After walking around a little bit with my sculpture class, I dropped into the Appalachian Antique Mall which is 3 stories filled to the brim with cool, antique anything. I could spend hours in there looking at the old photos, magazines, toys, clothing, furniture, etc. I am so amazed by how organized that place is. It has thousands and thousands of items. I just stayed in for 15 minutes just walking around with my camera and took so many pictures. My hard drive is getting angry at me.

I love this section. Old pictures, notes, and postcards to buy. They have a sign next to it that says "adopt old family photos" or something like that. I could look at these pictures all day!

There were some precious little kids at the beach in Florida, and I couldn't resist snapping a few shots of them. Thank you to all of the parents who let me take some pictures!

Now off to the beach again to paddle board and get some more sun!!

weekend in Florida!!

This weekend, my friend Josie and I flew down to Destin, FL for the weekend to stay with her dad for a few days. While we may both be extremely sunburnt, I got some great pictures from the beach! These beaches are nothing like California beaches. They have white sand and gorgeous, clear water.

crepes, humane society, and autree

This past weekend, I had a lovely day with my friend Audrey (Autree). We hunted out a deal on delicious crepes, and then went to play with the kitties at the Boone Humane Society. They are so sweet and cuddly. They just want some lovin. Audrey and I have a slight obsession with cats, so every time we go, we just want to take them all back to our dorms with us!
